Attend your Lodge and support the Officers that you elected to serve the Lodge and you because the Officers are only as good as the members and the members make the Lodge. There is a growing threat of Clandestine organizations that claim to be Freemasonry, they are not. The informaiton age of the internet has given way to Clandestine organizations reaching a greater number of young and old alike in an attempt to form their own brand of Freemasonry. Ohio' Halcyon Lodge parted ways with the Grand Lodge of Ohio with the help of an expelled Mason from Georgia.
 
The organizations and Masonic bodies listed on this site are approved as regular by the Grand Lodge of Georgia and we caution all who are in doubt of a particular lodge to ask first before finding out the hard way.
 
Freemasonry can not be asorbed by one day classes. From time immemorial we have imparted our rituals and work from mouth to ear to not only protect an impress the mind of the student mason but to maintain human contact with each other over the span of time to prevent
"Out of sight and Out of mind"

While Freemasonry has often been called a "secret society," it is more correct to say that it is an esoteric society, in that certain aspects are private. Freemasons have stated that Freemasonry has, in the 21st century, become less a secret society and more of a
